Client Spotlight: "One workout at a time"
When I first reached out to Kat to ask if I could highlight her on my newsletter, the very first thing she said to me was this. "I have been slacking for the month of July".
Now this isn't why I reached out, but I do like her acknowledging she hasn't been as committed as she has been over the past 2 years.
I wrote about in my latest instagram post - this is life!
We all have times when we are more disciplined, and in case of Kat and many others, including yours truly - the summer is tough!
What she said after this was why I have so much love for this woman.
"Its so hard, but tomorrow I'm getting back on the wagon. Trips are done, and no excuses. I take it one workout at a time. One set at a time. It gets done, and I feel good after. I also find I make better choices when I workout. Makes it worthwhile."
This is the definition of a strong woman.
She never gives up - ever.
She stays positive - every single day.
She understands this is a journey, and although it is so hard, she takes one day at time, and gets it done.
Kat is one of the reasons I continue to do this - she is my why. I will push her and give her all the support and time she needs because I believe in her.
When she sent these progress pics to me, I was over the moon - so was she. This is why progress pics are so important!
With this progress pics, came a small note - "I was struggling to get motivated for the spring session. But I pulled it together after work and took these pictures. I wanted to share with you (and now has allowed me to share with you). It actually makes me cry happy tears! I owe you so much (no she doesn't). You have changed my life. (SHE is changing her life). I have no way to thank you other than to keep pushing. I don't see changes in the mirror, but now when I see back to January of 2022, I can see it"
She finished by repeating her mantra -
"one workout at a time."
Kat, thank you for allowing me to share your story. You will help inspire so many - I hope you realize this.
I also appreciate your tech skills! When the ladies are asking about the app or other tech issues, you are always the FIRST to help us all out.
I just absolutely adore you.
